The DI-M9102 Intelligent Photoelectric Smoke Detector (referred to as "the detector") can be integrated into a fire alarm system, establishing a connection with a fire alarm control panel (FACP). This detector employs illuminated indicators to visually signal fire conditions and effectively transmits alarm signals to the FACP. Utilizing innovative infrared scattering technology along with an advanced chamber design, the detector is capable of detecting incredibly faint infrared light in a normal, clean environment. If smoke particles enter the chamber, the intensity of the received light signal increases due to scattering. Once the smoke density reaches a certain level, the detector activates the alarm signal. To minimize both interference and power consumption, the emitting circuit operates in a pulse mode, thereby prolonging the life of the infrared emitting diode (IR LED).
The detector boasts a range of features including:
- Fault Self-Diagnostic: The ability to diagnose faults within itself.
- Magnet Test: The availability of a magnet test for testing purposes.
- Remote Indicator Connections: Provision for connecting with remote indicators.
- Built-in Microprocessor: Capability to store 14 historical data records.
- Polling LED Control: The option to set the polling LED to an OFF state.
- Standard Compliance: Certified to meet the UL268 standard.
