The single output unit addressable I-9301 operates in two modes, two-wire mode and four-wire mode. In four-wire mode, upon receipt of the start command from the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP), the unit will activate the output connection to provide a 24V DC output and turn on the activity indicator. The unit can detect faults such as short circuits, open circuits, and power loss, and can report these problems to the fire alarm control panel. In two-wire mode, upon receipt of the start command from the FACP, the unit will activate the output link to produce a signal containing normally open and normally closed contacts, with the activity indicator also turned on.
The two-wire and four-wire modes can be programmed using the portable programming device. The e-address can be modified in the field. The unit is equipped with an internal CPU that intelligently manages incoming messages and monitors the power supply. It contains indicators for malfunctions and procedures. The unit also includes a function to check the output cable with four wires. Its pluggable structure allows it to be easily installed. It is compliant with EN 54-18:2005.
